The Mégafeux project, a poetry production and dissemination agency launched by L'Épître, will be inaugurated on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at MIAM.
The evening will feature an aperitif followed by a general presentation of the project, accompanied by two performances by Maxime Sacchetto and Ed Wige.
Maxime Sacchetto - À la place du pétrole

Maxime Sacchetto's project takes the form of a sound performance. On stage, he will use gasoline cans as percussion instruments alongside a guitar for melodic lines. Using a looper and various effects pedals, he will create musical loops to accompany his reading. The performance also has a strong visual dimension, as Maxime will quite literally play with fire, setting the pages of his text alight throughout the performance and developing a series of variations around this motif. The project will be accompanied by a publication collecting the texts performed.
Maxime Sacchetto is a writer, musician, and member of the independent label Table Basse Records. The porous nature of his artistic practice has led many of his texts to evolve into musical performances. His work has been published by Éditions PLF, La Chaise Jaune, Gros Textes, as well as in numerous literary journals. His poetry is devoted to the subtle and wondrous treasures that punctuate our lives, yet are too often obscured by the frenzy of contemporary existence. His first novel, Jacques est sur le parking, and his first poetry collection, Selon les conditions imposées par le soleil, were both published in 2023. Alongside his artistic practice, Maxime Sacchetto works as an archaeologist.
Ed Wige - comment meurent les glaciers or how do glaciers die?

To embody her poetic text devoted to the melting of glaciers, Ed Wige is creating a performance—a bilingual (French/English) solo piece combining movement and sound recordings. She is collaborating with a costume designer to create a garment inspired by glaciers and the protective fabrics used to cover them and slow their melting. Part of the text will be written on the costume, while another part will be inscribed directly on the performer's body. As the performance unfolds, the writing on the skin will gradually disappear, while the costume will slowly lose some of its elements, echoing the melting of ice. Ed Wige is also working with a sound artist to create a soundtrack composed of recordings of glaciers, adding an additional sonic dimension to the performance.
Ed Wige received the Swiss Literature Prize for her debut book, Milch lait latte mleko, published by Paulette éditrice. She first published texts in L'Épître, contributed to the creation of the exhibition Green Valley, and is one of the writers featured in La Poésie du Kebab. She graduated from the Swiss Literary Institute in Biel/Bienne and from HKB (Bern Academy of the Arts).
